Corey Robbins is a visual artist working across painting and sculptural form, creating work through a hands-on process of construction, reduction, and surface refinement. He works from his studio in Austin, Texas.
His practice focuses on structure, balance, and material. Influenced by both natural systems and engineered design, his work explores the relationship between precision and irregularity, control and emergence.
Each piece is built through layering, cutting, and reworking physical surfaces until a sense of tension and rhythm takes hold. Subtle variations, edges, and textures are intentionally preserved, allowing the process to remain visible in the final form.
The resulting works are minimal yet tactile, designed to hold visual weight and quiet presence within a space. Select works are translated into limited print editions that retain the texture and material qualities of the originals.
